Ranking the Cast of Selling Sunset Season 6
I’m kind of obsessed with Selling Sunset. Every time a new season comes out on Netflix, I end up binge-watching the entire thing and getting lost in the glitz and glam they throw at you from every angle. Imagine selling million-dollar homes in a sparkly see-through dress? After pulling up in your Porsche? It’s all insane in the best way possible. To celebrate season 6 being released last week (which I of course watched in one sitting) I’m ranking the cast from my favourite to least favourite!
Warning: Season 6 spoilers ahead!! As well, these are my own opinions and this blog post is made for fun!
1. Chrishell
Chrishell has been very hit or miss for me over the course of the show, but this season she was my favourite. I think she stood up for herself in a way that was clear and got her point across, but still looked like a bad bitch while doing it. She seems happier this season and is definitely living rent-free in everyone’s head. The real star of the show.
2. Emma
Emma didn’t have a super prominent storyline in this season, but she stood up for her BFF Chrishell when things were getting crazy and still managed to promote those empanadas!! We love a good friend and a good plug, so she gets my number 2 spot this season.
3. Amanza
I like Amanza in general. Honestly, she could have taken the number two spot since she was the most mature, made sure to get both sides of the story before passing judgement, and got some good one-liners in about Nick Cannon and his multiple babies. I just could NOT get past the outfits- I’m happy she’s expressing her personal style but holy some of those outfits were questionable to say the least.
4. Romain
Romain was in season 6 for maybe 5 minutes but he still snagged the number 4 spot. I’m sorry but that man is hilarious and all he does is stand next to Mary and say a couple of things in his accent. The lack of progress on the penthouses he was in charge of was comical, and watching him stand there with a smile on his face and no thoughts behind those eyes while he was getting yelled at by Mary and Jason made me giggle.
5. Heather
Heather would be much higher on the list if she didn’t point out her pregnancy every 5 seconds. She was a good friend but also definitely stirred the pot a little bit (even though she will never admit it) which made for a good story line. Her outfits were also on point this season, and if she didn’t talk about how much she was popping every time she entered the room it would have made them even better. WE GET IT HEATHER YOU ARE PREGGO.
6. Bre
I actually really liked Bre. I thought she was confident, confrontational and had some great but not over-the-top outfits. The only reason she’s ranking this low is cause of the whole Nick Cannon situation… look she can be in a “relationship” with whoever she wants, but talking about being a boss bitch and standing up for herself and then being treated so poorly by “her man” (and hey, maybe he does treat her well and they are together but the guy has like 12 kids now) are just too conflicting for me to fully get behind. Not to sound like Chelsea. I just wish the focus was more on HER and not her baby daddy drama cause she seemed to bring in a lot of celebrity clients.
7. Mary
Mary by far had the best fashion this season in my opinion (minus that GIANT ugly Gucci necklace in episode 10) but oh dear lord she should NOT be a manager. Of course, I’m sure its a lot to deal with taking on multiple listings and an entire office from your boss on top of your own stuff (which we conveniently didn’t see… but I’m sure she has some… maybe) and dealing with grown women who fight like they’re in high school. But avoiding conflict, not stepping in at a professional event when two of your agents are fighting (Chelsea was SO right about that one) and not being able to stick up for what you believe is true and right is NOT how to manage. Sorry girl, maybe stick to selling houses and hanging out with your man.
8. Jason
Jason kinda sucks and needs to stop dating his employees. Half the drama on this show is because Jason couldn’t keep it in his pants, and somehow he gets like no blame for it? Also how are you going to be mad that your deals and your million-dollar penthouses aren’t working out when you go off to Europe for 3 weeks with your (way too young for you) girlfriend? He seems to like avoiding work and then getting pissed off at everyone else when something bad happens. Manage your business yourself Jason!!!
9. Chelsea
Okay I go back and forth with Chelsea. I thought maybe I would like her more when she wasn’t kissing Christine’s ass all season, but I can’t say this new season did much to help her case in my eyes. She definitely seemed to do the most on the business side of things, but I’m not sure if she realizes its okay to keep your opinions to yourself… Constantly talking about Bre’s situation (which she seems to think involves her somehow??) and bringing it up in the workplace to gossip about to your other co-workers… that’s mean girl energy.
10. Brett
Does he do anything?? I don’t understand why Mary is getting in trouble for the office falling apart while Jason is gallivanting around Europe and Brett is sitting there doing nothing? I guess he left the Oppenheim group to start his own business but then why is he still working out of the same office? For the show? That he’s barely a part of? It’s all very confusing.
11. Nicole
Nicole really came into season 6 looking to replace Christine as the villain of Selling Sunset, but somehow she managed to become worse… in a bad way. Why, as a grown woman, are you upset about not getting enough credit on a listing from THREE YEARS AGO?? Anytime she tried to get into an argument with Chrishell she literally had no foot to stand on and none of her arguments made any sense. And going to get a drug test? At least she really committed to being the victim (AHEM) for the whole season. I honestly didn’t think I could dislike someone more than Christine on this show, but at least Christine was kinda funny and had good outfits. Nicole’s whole personality was hating on Chrishell for no reason.
11.5 Davina
She was in it for like 5 seconds and I still disliked her. She still gets an honorary mention as the second most disliked character.
