Canada Day has always marked the start of summer for me. School would always end a couple of days before, the weather is always beautiful and sunny, and you’re so excited for the next two months of relaxing and having fun with friends. Of course, as an adult things are a little different. Unfortunately work does not pause for summer the way school used to, but that’s why I find celebrating whenever possible helps to keep me sane.
